After graduating from UVA Law School in 1978, classmates and best friends Charles Purcell and Irv Cantor went on to build successful careers and law firms, representing persons who have been seriously injured.

Irvin V. Cantor is a founding partner of the Richmond, Va. law firm of Cantor Arkema, P.C., recently listed as one of the 30 largest law firms in Virginia. Mr. Cantor opened the law firm in 1979 after clerking for the Virginia Supreme Court. Mr. Cantor has achieved numerous recoveries for his clients in excess of a million dollars. He is listed in "Who's Who in American Law" and is rated AV (highest rating) by Martindale-Hubbell Legal Directory. Mr. Cantor is Past President of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and he currently serves as President of the Brain Injury Association of Virginia and Treasurer of the Virginia Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates.

Over the years, Charles Purcell and Irv Cantor have successfully teamed together to handle many large personal injury cases.
